Carlie"s fabulous photography has whimsical wonderland feel about it. She is based in Brisbane, Australia. Her work is fun, energetic and would suit a variety of situations.

How do you create your work?

My work was created in a studio, using two to three lights in most shots and reflectors It took a while to figure what I wanted to shoot and how. Once I had it, I rolled with it.

What inspires you to create?

Everything I see, I keep a notebook full of ideas.

What are your hopes for the future?

To be able to have solid income from my photography.

Name a few things that make you happy?

Spending quality time with the people I love.

Kandinsky, Dali, Sam Spratt

Trick Monkey is the all seeing Monkey Voodoo Witch Doctor. Keeper of Arcane Shaman Swamp Magick, Gate Keeper to the Other Realms, Enchanter of Mystic Material, Decipherer of Cryptic Tonic, Guardian of Occult Spirits, Monsters and Tikis.

His swamp land location is a mystery except to one person, Andy Monks. Andy discovered the location, lost one night he wandered aimlessly lost in a see of thoughts and confusion, stumbling across a glowing cabin in the swamp. It was a warm beacon and signified a turning point for both. Trick Monkey discovered someone to distribute his gifts and knowledge, Andy found a muse.
Andy Monks, now takes the gifts & knowledge given him by Trick Monkey to share with the world through ‘Art’.

How do you create your work?

It mostly starts as pencil drawing and some go into the computer and become digital painting, some go in and become 3D models, some go onto a canvas and become a painting, some get scuplted and become little sculptures. I love mixing traditional and digital mediums.
My new thing is drawing on my ipad!

What inspires you to create?

My imagination, music, movies, books, nature and beauty. Mostly I'm trying to make real my imagination.

What are your hopes for the future?

To keep creating bolder and bigger work, to improve myself as an artist always, get more overseas exposure, find new ways to combine new technology, digital and traditional media.

Monsters, my wife, my daughter, music, bbq, making art and dreaming.
